Let’s recap time management tip #2 briefly. Determine primary goals: List what your primary goals are by day or by week – whichever is better for you. Again, daily is more practical, because you can zone in on what action you must take for that day.

Now that you have written out your activities and tasks and have determined your primary goals for the day or week, let’s move on the third quick tip.

Tip #3 Results vs Effort | 80-20 rule – Determine which 20 % of your listed activities will yield you 80 % the results, taking you closer to your goals.

For example, if writing an e-book which will serve as a valuable tool to attract targeted leads for your business, or serve as a product that people will buy, then that certainly would take priority over spending time writing or commenting on blog posts.

Determining what activities will yield the most return is crucial and helps to avoid wasting valuable time on non-income producing activities. 

As a marketer there are tons of things to “do”, but very few of them actually will put money or leads in your pocket, so always determine if it makes sense to do this activity before you take the time to do it.
